ALUMINIUM CASTINGS
The company is a manufacturer and supplier of High Quality Aluminium Castings in the 0.5 to 5.0 Kg/component range currently. The Foundry is located in Coimbatore (Plant II of ALA). The melting is carried out in environment friendly Gas fired crucible furnaces with automatic temperature controls, having a combined capacity of 300 Kg/melt. The castings are manufactured as per customer requirement. The company has long term tie-ups with reputed manufacturers for making permanent moulds required for producing the components and for Heat treatment and machining of the same.
The Company exercises stringent Quality Control measures at the Raw Material stage and the in-process stage (at the foundry end). Rigorous Mechanical, Metallurgical and Visual/Dimension Checks are done on final product prior to dispatch to the Customer as per a comprehensive Inspection Plan. For this, we have –
- Mechanical Testing Laboratory with a Universal Testing Machine (for Breaking Load) and Hardness Tester (for Surface Hardness)
- Facilities for Comprehensive inspection of dimensions of the Components produced.
The testing is done by experienced and qualified personnell, at each stage of the components (and Mould) manufacture, to ensure that the output is to the total satisfaction of the customer in terms of quality parameters.
Our major markets are in Italy and Spain and find use in the Transmission Line Accessories Sector. Our products have found total acceptability on account of Excellent Quality, Competitive Prices and On-time Deliveries.
